Keonjhar: A gang of armed miscreants descended upon a petrol pump in the Phuljhar area of Odisha’s Keonjhar district. The robbers looted Rs 5 lakh cash on gun point from the establishment.
During the heist, the criminals fired shots into the air to intimidate bystanders and staff. They also damaged the CCTV cameras, further hampering the investigation. The gang fled from the spot after looting money and damaging CCTV cameras.
On being informed, police reached the spot and initiated a probe into the matter. The cops have also initiated a search operation to nab the accused.
