Jajpur: In a broad daylight heist unidentified miscreants looted Rs 1 Lakh 60 thousands by breaking a bike dickey at Kuakhai market in Jajpur of Odisha.
According to the report, Prathamakhand Cooperative Society Secretary Prashant Kumar Shani was on his way to the Kuakhai Cooperative bank in Jajpur to deposit the collected money when the incident took place.
On his way Shani had kept the bike in front of the bank and was discussing with two farmers in the bank when two bike borne miscreants broke the motorcycle dickey and looted Rs 1 Lakh 60 thousands, as the report says. The miscreants then fled the spot after committing the loot.
After knowing about the loot Prashant lodged a complaint and Kuakhai Police rushed to the spot and started investigation.
