Bhadrak: Solving a minor girl abduction case within 48 hours of its occurrence, Choudwar Police today rescued the victim from Agarpada area of Bhadrak district last night and arrested the accused couple.
The held couple has been identified as Sabera Bibi and her husband MD Saha.
As per the report, Sabera and her husband had allegedly kidnapped the minor girl from her house located in OTM Colony of Ward no. 12 in Choudwar town. They had later taken the girl to Ghatagada village under Agarpada police limits in Bhadrak.
After not finding their daughter in the house and suspecting Sabera, who was residing in their neighbourhood the parents of the child had lodged a case with Choudwar Police on the same day. They had also detained Sabera at her home in the incident and called up police a day ago.
While the minor has been handed over to her parents after rescue, the held couple has been forwarded to court today.
