Soro: In a shocking incident, two masked miscreants looted Rs 3.70 lakh from a businessman at Gopalpur under Khantapada police limits of Balasore district.
The incident took place near Kanakata Kantiachira bridge in Khantapada late night on Friday.
Report says, Dilip Das , an employee of Cement godown was returning back from work with money, when two masked miscreants intercepted him near the bridge with a gun and looted mobile phone, 2 gold rings and Rs 3.70 lakh collection money.
Later, the two miscreants called another two men of their gang and gave them all the looted belongings and took away his bike.
Dilip then informed the incident to the Khantapada police and filed a complaint.
The police have started a probe into the matter.
