Maoist camp busted in Odisha’s Nuapada

Nuapada: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel have busted a Maoist camp in a forest near Pandripani village under Dharambandha police limits in the bordering area of Odisha and Chhattisgarh yesterday.

The CRPF jawans , during a combing operation in the forest, recovered two rifles, two hand grenades, 12 gelatine sticks, 25 detonators, five kg of explosives along with several Maoist equipment.

However, the ultras fled from the spot before the security personnel reached there.

On February 6, The Special Operation Group (SOG) Jawans busted a Maoist camp in the Patdhara Reserve Forest area under Boden police limits in the district. They recovered explosives including five tiffin bombs, three UPS batteries, 2 kg gun powder, electrical wires etc. as well as several daily use equipment of Maoists.
