A man reportedly killed two persons following a heated argument over eating a dead chicken and surrendered before the K Balang police in Sundargarh district of Odisha.
Sundergarh: A man reportedly killed two persons following a heated argument over eating a dead chicken and surrendered before the K Balang police in Sundargarh district of Odisha.
A heated argument reportedly broke out between Jura Munda, Sadhu Charan Burwelli and Janka Sundhi of Amarudhi village in the district over eating a dead chicken yesterday.
Their argument turned ugly after Jura hacked Sadhu Charan and Janka to death with an axe and dumped their bodies in a nullah near the village.
This morning, Jura went to the K Balang police station and surrendered before the cops by confessing to have committed the double murder.
After detaining Jura, police based on his information seized the bodies from the nullah and sent them for post-mortem.
Police have also initiated an investigation into the crime, which has shocked the locals.
