Athagarh: A man was killed following a group clash over past enmity in Adala of Radhakrushnapur village under Khunatuni police here in Cuttack district. According to sources, the man was allegedly killed after a tractor ran him over after the group clash.
Sources revealed that the deceased youth is Sushant Rana of Radhakrushnapur village. It was alleged that Sushant was murdered over past enmity. Following the death of Sushant, ruckus has erupted in the area.
Meanwhile, one tractor, car, and a chicken farm of the opposite group’s Swain family has been burned in the group clash.
After the group clash, one platoon of police force has been deployed to control the situation and maintain law and order in the area. The police have seized the body and sent it for postmortem to Dhenkanal Hospital.
Cuttack Additional SP and SDPO has reached the scene and taking note of the situation. The group clash and death of one person have shocked the locals.
