Sambalpur: In a ghastly incident, a man beat his wife to death at Ledimahula village under Jamanakira police limits today.
According to reports, the man had a fight with his over some family issue, irate over which he attacked her with a wooden plank causing her death on the spot. Later, the accused husband surrendered before Kuchinda police.
An investigation into the matter is underway. Meanwhile, the body of the deceased woman, who is yet to be identified, has been sent to the hospital for postmortem.
