Malyabanta Mahotsav 2023 poster and promotional video song, written by Sub Collector Akshay Khemundu, released

Malkangiri: The district administration released the poster and special promotional video song for the upcoming ‘Malyabanta Mahotsav 2023’ during a special event organised at the Sanskruti Bhawan in Malkangiri on Friday. The Malyabanta Mahotsav will be held from 15th to 17th December.

Chitrakonda MLA Purna Chandra Baka, District Collector Vishal Singh, Sub-Collector Akshay Kumar Khemundu and other dignitaries were present during the release of the poster and video song, which has been titled ‘Aaila Re Malyabanta.’

While Sub-Collector Akshay Kumar Khemundu has written the song, Odisha’s noted playback singers Aseema Panda and Mantu Chhuria have lent their voice.

The Sub Collector, who is a senior OAS officer, is well known among the locals as a dedicated and dutiful officer especially for his vital role in conducting elections in the Moist-infested district peacefully and successfully and giving his best for the development of the district.

Now, through this song (Aaila Re Malyabanta), he has tried to glorify the great history, culture and tradition of the tribal-dominated district. Which is why, people of all walks of life have heaped praises on him.
