Major fire in daily market reduces 30 shops to ashes in Keonjhar

Keonjhar: Around 25 to 30 shops were burnt to ashes after a major fire erupted at a Daily market in Keonjhar on late Sunday night. The fire brigade is trying to douse the flames and has contained the flames to some extent.

According to sources, the fire may have been caused by a short circut. The fire spread quickly in the area as the shop were near each other in a small space.So, it took a very small time for the fire to spread and around 25 to 30 shops were reduced to ashes.

The fire brigade along with the shopkeepers tried their best to douse the flames as soon as possible. Though, the fire was contained to some extent, lakhs of rupees of properties were burnt in this incident.
