Odisha: A low-pressure system is forming in the Bay of Bengal, and it’s expected to influence the weather from October 22nd to the 26th, according to the meteorological department.

In the next three to four days, a low-pressure area is likely to take hold in the Bay of Bengal. As it gains strength, it is forecast to move closer to the coastline of the state.

According to the meteorological department, there is currently a cyclonic system in the southeastern Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea.

It is expected that by the 21st, a low-pressure system will form in the central and southern Bay of Bengal, and by the 22nd, it will start bringing rain.

However, the exact path of this cyclone is still uncertain. The weather department hasn’t provided specific details about its potential impact, intensity, or trajectory.

As per the meteorological department, this system may not significantly affect our region, particularly Odisha, but we can expect some rain today and tomorrow with lighter showers in some districts.

Additionally, the minimum temperature in various places is expected to drop to around 20 degrees Celsius, which might make the weather in Odisha a bit chilly.
