Odisha: IT raid on properties of former MLA Sanatan Mahakud
The Income Tax raid is underway at the former MLA Sanatan Mahakud's house in Shahidnagar area of Bhubaneswar, said reports on Thursday.
Bhubaneswar: An Income Tax (IT) raid is underway at the house of the former Champua MLA Sanatan Mahakud on Thursday, said reliable reports.
According to reports, simultaneous raids are being carried out in Keonjhar, Bhubaneswar and in his ancestral village. In Bhubaneswar, a number of residential buildings are also under construction in his name.
The IT department informed about this raid, they further said that simultaneous raids are being conducted at 10 places. The Income Tax raid is underway at the former MLA’s house in Shahidnagar area of Bhubaneswar.
The raid is being conducted in Bhubaneswar by a 10-member Income Tax team. According to reports, the former MLA is involved in a major tax evasion.
