Kolkata: Kolkata SRFTI has established “Pramod Pati Cinema Art and Technology Museum” named after Pramod Pati, a person dedicated to filmmaking. Established under the guidance of eminent film director Himanshu Shekhar Khatua, director of SRFTI, Kolkata, the museum preserves many ancient film related equipment.
This will create familiarity between past and present films and provide inspiration for the future.
Central Information and Broadcasting Department Additional Secretary Neerja Shekhar and Director Himansu Shekhar Khatua visited the museum.
Along with this, a festival on ancient films “Arcuria” has inaugurated. It will continue till March 22. Out of total 18 cinemas, the Odia film “Sunya Swaroopa” by Director Himansu Shekhar Khatua will be aired in the program.
