Gunpowder explodes in Kendrapara of Odisha, doctor saved by chance

Kendrapara: A doctor was saved by a whisker as gunpowder explodes in Kendrapara district in Odisha on Thursday, said reliable reports.

Reports say that, the doctor was passing by fire crackers and gun powder laid out to dry in the sun when the incident took place. The event occurred in the Purushottampur village in Kendrapara district.

It is worth mentioning that, the doctor identified as Sujit Samal was passing by when all off a sudden the gunpowder exploded damaging his car.

Onlookers said that it was his good luck that nothing happened to him. However it is worth mentioning that his car got damaged in the incident.

The police has reached the spot and is investigating into the matter. Detailed reports awaited in this matter.
