Bhawanipatna: A forest ranger was trampled by an elephant near Ratanpur village under Narla range in Bhawanipatna district on Sunday. The man has been admitted to the hospital where his condition is stated to be critical.
Reports say, the locals saw the wild tusker approaching the village and informed the forest department late night.
On being informed, the ranger reached the village and was attacked by a wild tusker during efforts to drive it away from the village.
