Flash flood in Baitarani river, woman rescued in critical condition
A woman has been rescued in a critical condition from Anandapur town of Keonjhar district in Odisha, due to flood in Baitarani.
Anandapur: A woman has been rescued in a critical condition from Anandapur town of Keonjhar district in Odisha, due to flood in Baitarani.
According to reports, she had gone to bathe in the Baitarani river when all of a sudden a flash flood and swept her away.
She started shouting for help when a few locals spotted her and called the ODRAF team. The team immediately reached the spot and after much toil rescued her.
The woman reportedly is in a critical condition and has been admitted to the Anandapur Community Healthcare Center (CHC). The identity of the woman is yet to be ascertained.
