Fish seller by morning, bike thief by night in Bhubaneswar gets caught

In an interesting case, a fish seller has been arrested in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday for stealing bikes. 

Bhubaneswar:In an interesting case, a fish seller has been arrested in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday for stealing bikes, said reliable reports.

It is worth mentioning that the man was a fish seller in the morning hurs and used to loot bikes at night from posh areas of Bhubaneswar.

The man identified as Chitta Ranjan Pradhan was involved in fish trading during the day and used indulge in vehicle theft at night.

Reports say that, a bike was stolen from Forest Park area on the October 6 in connection with which police arrested Chitta Ranjan Pradhan. Later as many as three vehicles have been seized from the possession of the fish seller arrested in Bhubaneswar.

The accused Pradhan owns a fish shop in Unit one market (haat), said reliable reports. However, after completing the fish selling in the morning, Chitta confessed during the interrogation that he was involved in looting bikes.

The police found out that he was involved in looting the vehicle from crowded places such as Capital Hospital, IG Park, Unit 1 Haat, Market Building.

On the other hand to prevent such thefts, it is worth mentioning that the Capital police station officer has urged and requested everyone repeatedly to double lock their vehicles while parking in crowded places.
