A fire incident has been reported in the commercial building at Vani Vihar square in Bhubaneswar, said reports on Tuesday.

Bhubaneswar: A fire incident has been reported in the commercial building at Vani Vihar square in Bhubaneswar, said reports on Tuesday.

According to reports, the fire in metro house Bhubaneswar was reported in the late hours of night on Monday.

Reportedly the fire took place in the the fifth floor of the building, said reliable reports. The fire is said to have taken place due to a short circuit.

The locals immediately spotted the fire and informed the fire department. The fire personnel reached the spot and rescued two minors who were stuck in the building.

The two minors were rescued after cutting one of the shutter of the building, said reliable reports. The Mancheswar fire department carried out the rescue operation.

The fire department and latest reports confirm that there were no injures to any person. The two minors were helpers in a office in the tower said reports.

They had slept off and that is why they could not know that the fire incident had taken place. It was only when the smoke filled the office, they woke up and called 112 to rescue them.
