Fake Central Survey team arrested in Jeypore, Koraput

Koraput: In a recent incident, Jeypore municipal authorities caught a two member fake survey team posing as inspectors from the Central Quality Control Office. The duo had arrived in Jeypore to conduct a survey for the ODF+ ranking of the city for Swachh Bharat Mission.

Suspicion arose when the two miscreants demanded a unusual higher pay for their work. Upon investigation, it was found that they had presented their old appointment letters for verification and had forged work instructions to carry out their deceptive actions. It was also found out that the imposters were previously terminated employees of the Central Quality Control Office in Bhubaneswar.

The town chairman of Jeypore lodged a complaint at the local police station. This lead to the detention of the fake central survey team. They are currently held by the police for further interrogation. Further details awaited.
