Elephant rampage in Karanjia causes destruction of property

A total of 34 elephants are residing within the Karanjia forest range. Incidents of destruction from different nearby areas have been reported

Mayurbhanj: Rampaging elephants have caused havoc in Karanjia forest patch of Mayurbhanj district, leaving a trail of destruction as a consequence.

Reports indicate that a total pf 34 elephants are currently residing at various locations within the forest range. Incidents have destruction and damage have been reported from the Satkosia and Dudhiana ranges.

The Dudhiani range area has suffered due to the elephants creating havoc. Reportedly, three houses were found completely damaged.

Similarly, in the Satkosia range, one house was found completely damaged as a result of the elephant wrath,
