East Coast Railway expands special train services in various parts of India

Bhubaneswar: Keeping in view the public demand and to avoid overcrowding in regular trains, the East Coast Railways (ECoR) have expanded the services of special trains in the various parts of India.

The following decision has been taken by the Railways to extend the duration of special trains traveling from East Coast Railway to various parts of the country:

Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad Special Train:

02832 Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad Special Express will run from Bhubaneswar till 31 August 2023. On return route 02831 Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Special Express will run from Dhanbad till 1st September, 2023.

Puri – Patna Special Train

08439 Puri-Patna Special Express will run every Saturday from Puri till 26 August 2023. On return route 08440 Patna-Puri Special Express will leave Patna every Sunday till 27th August 2023.

03230 Patna-Puri Special Express will run every Thursday from Patna now till 31 August 2023. On return route 03229 Puri-Patna Special Express will run every Friday from Puri till 1 September 2023.

Bhubaneswar-Tirupati

02809 Bhubaneswar to Tirupati Special Express will run every Saturday from Bhubaneswar till 29th July, 2023. On return route 02810 Tirupati-Bhubaneswar Special Express will run every Saturday from Tirupati till 30th July, 2023.

Visakhapatnam-Banaras

08588 Visakhapatnam-Banaras Special Express will run every Wednesday from Visakhapatnam till 12 July 2023. On return route 08587 Banaras-Vishakhapatnam Special will operate from Banaras till 13 Jul 2023.

Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad

08579 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Special Express will run every Wednesday from Visakhapatnam till 26 July 2023. On return route 08580 Secunderabad-Vishakhapatnam Special will operate from Secunderabad till 27 July 2023.

Visakhapatnam-Tirupati

08583 Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Special Express will run every Monday from Visakhapatnam till 31st July, 2023. On return route 08584 Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Special will run from Tirupati till August 2023.

Visakhapatnam-Mehabubnagar

08585 Visakhapatnam-Mehabubnagar Special Express will run every Tuesday from Visakhapatnam till 25th July, 2023. On return route 08586 Mehbubnagar-Vishakhapatnam Special will run from Mehbubnagar till 26th July, 2023.

Visakhapatnam-Bengaluru Cantt.

08543 Visakhapatnam-Bengaluru Cantt. Special Express will run every Sunday from Visakhapatnam till 30th July, 2023. On the return route, 08544 Bengaluru Cantt-Vishakhapatnam Special will operate from Bengaluru Cantt till 31st July, 2023.

08915 Visakhapatnam-Bengaluru Cantt Special Express will leave Visakhapatnam on 1st July 2023 (Saturday) at 1.15 pm and arrive at Bengaluru Cantt on Sunday 7th. It is being operated in view of the extra rush of passengers

Two more special trains from East Coast Railway:

Visakhapatnam-Rangpada Uttar Jan General Special

08562 Visakhapatnam-Rangpada North Special will leave Visakhapatnam every Sunday (Saturday 12:10 AM) till 30th July, 2023 and arrive Rangpada North at 10 AM on Monday. 08561 Rangpada Uttar-Vishakhapatnam Special runs every Tuesday at 05:15 AM till August 2023 on preferrable route. It will leave at 03.35 pm on Wednesday and reach Visakhapatnam. The train has accommodation at important stations between Visakhapatnam and Rangpada North stations in both directions and has seven second class seating and two guard and luggage vans available.

Sambalpur-Erode

08311 Sambalpur-Erode Special will leave Sambalpur every Wednesday at 10:55 AM till 26 July 2023 and arrive Erode at 07:50 PM on Thursday. On return route 08312 Erode-Sambalpur Special will leave Erode every Friday at 01.45 PM till 28 July 2023 and reach Sambalpur at 09.15 PM on Saturday night. The train has one AC-2 tier, three AC-3 tiers, nine sleeper classes, three second class seating and two guard and luggage vans available on the Titilagarh-Rayagada-Vijayanagaram station route with accommodation at various important stations on both sides.
