Drivers strike called off by Odisha Motor Transport Workers Federation

Today, there was a cordial discussion with the Representatives of Odisha Motor Transport Workers Federation who had called for a strike.

Bhubaneswar: Today, there was a cordial discussion with the Representatives of Odisha Motor Transport Workers Federation who had called for a strike. According to reports, on behalf of Transport Workers against the new provision made in the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

According to reports, the representatives of the State Government the Chief Secretary and Senior Officers were present and appealed to the Union based on the statement made by the Union Home Secretary.

The Federation was requested to withdraw their strike to avoid any inconvenience to public. The Federation was represented by Janardan Pati and Ullash Swain and others. The Federation agreed and have given the statement that the Strike has been called off with immediate effect.
