Driver charred to death as truck catches fire in Odisha, helper critical
A truck caught fire near Jamankira police limits in Sambalpur district. Unfortunately, the driver could not escape and was burnt alive.
Kuchinda: In a shocking incident, a driver has been charred to death after a truck caught fire in Sambalpur district of Odisha, said reports on Wednesday.
According to reports, the truck caught fire following a head-on collision with a coal-laden truck near Bada Kundesara under Jamankira police limits in Sambalpur district.
It is worth mentioning that the helper of the mini truck is in a critical condition and has been admitted to the hospital.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. The fire brigade reached the spot and doused the fire. The vehicle was mostly gutted and its contents also caught fire.
