Dense fog engulfs Odisha: Yellow warning issued for 11 districts

A yellow was issued for dense fog for as many 11 districts of Odisha. Dense fog is disrupting the normal life of people of the state.

Bhubaneswar: Dense fog is disrupting the normal life of people of Odisha in the morning hours. The visibility dropped to very low in the morning hours due to dense fog in twin cities Bhubaneswar and Cuttack and in many other places.

A yellow was issued for dense fog for as many 11 districts of the state. The dense fog will continue to be witnessed in the state for the next three days till January 5, 2024.

The Indian Meteorological Department(IMD) has issued a warning for dense fog for 15 districts of the state.

The people has been advised to drive carefully on the roads as the chances of accidents increases due to the low visibility caused by dense fog.

Meanwhile, the weather will remain dry for the next three days and the temperature will rise by 2-3 degrees Celsius in several places of the state.

The Barakamuda area in Similipal National Park in Mayurbhanj has recorded the minimum temperature of 4 degrees today.
