Bhadrak: In a shocking incident, a Crocodile drags cow off riverbank in Bhadrak district of Odisha yet again, said reports on Tuesday.
A crocodile pulled a cow from the bank of the Baitarni river. While the cows were grazing in the river bank, a crocodile came from the river and dragged one of them into the river.
The incident was reported from the Sathibankuda village located in Dhusuri tehsil of Bhadrak district in Odisha. A crocodile has dragged the cow of Suresh Patra a resident of the above stated village, said reliable reports.
The local people were shocked as they observed that a huge crocodile was dragging the cow into the deep water. They tried to rescue the cow but in vain.
After being alerted the officials of the Forest Department from reached the spot. However, nobody could save the cow. Following the incident crocodile fear has gripped the villages on the bank of the Baitarani River.
