Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police today conducted raids on different open drinking in khati places and lifted as many as 29 defaulters.
According to reports, the Khandagiri police and Bharatpur police following the direction of DCP Prateek Singh conducted raids on open drinking in khati places in colony, residential areas, market areas under their respective jurisdictions.
In course of the raid, police detained a total of 29 defaulters for violating the rules. While 18 defaulters were lifted to Khandagiri PS, 11 defaulters lifted to Bharatpur PS.
These enforcement activities are under Safe City Drive Bhubaneswar and will continue further, said the city police adding that if any information on open drinking in colony residential areas of Bhubaneswar city, share in WhatsApp number – 7077798111.
