Bhubaneswar: Members of the Chhatra Congress, on Tuesday, took to the roads to protest against discrepancies in the CBSE Class XII results and over the ITER fake placement row.
Led by the state unit President Itish Pradhan, the members held a motorbike rally in the city and clashed with the police while trying to barge into Naveen Niwas.
“The future of students is at stake. The State Government should initiate quick and necessary action for the sake of the students,” said Itish Pradhan.
In the CBSE result fiasco, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has written to HRD Ministry to take up the issue.
Meanwhile, in the fake ITER placement case, the Students Leaders’ Forum submitted a memorandum to Governor SC Jamir, seeking his intervention in the matter.
