CBI Additional Director in Bhubaneswar holds crucial meeting with officers, likely to discuss about Dhiraj Sahu’s liquor empire

Bhubaneswar: Additional Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Manoj Shashidhar who arrived in Bhubaneswar today on a one-day visit held a crucial meeting with officers.

The CBI Additional Director during his three-hour long meeting, reportedly discussed about the cases being probed by the agency in Odisha. He reportedly reviewed the progress of 35 different chit fund cases being investigated in the State.

As discussion about the seizure of huge cash recovered from Congress MP Dhiraj Prasad Sahu’s liquor empire during simultaneous raids by the Income Tax Department in different locations of Odisha, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh is underway, it is expected that the CBI might take over the case.

Sources said that CBI Odisha Head, SP Administration, Additional SP and five DSP and Inspectors are attending the meeting.
