Nandankanan Zoo gets its first pair of Livingstone’s Turacos along with two Wallabies

The Nandankanan Zoological Park (NZP) in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar got its first pair of Livingstone’s Turacos along with two Wallabies, which were brought after a long period of 35 years.

Bhubaneswar: The Nandankanan Zoological Park (NZP) in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar got its first pair of Livingstone’s Turacos along with two Wallabies, which were brought after a long period of 35 years.

As per the Nandankanan Zoo authorities, the two each Wallabies and Livingstone’s Turacos have been brought from a private farm in Hyderabad. The four news guests were brought as part of the animal exchange programme.

Sources said that new shelters are being built for the new guests where they will be kept from December 28 and visitors can go to watch them from December 29, the foundation day of Nandankanan Zoo.
