Bridge washed away in Odisha, communication between Udala and Balasore disrupted

Balasore: A temporary bridge has been washed away is Odisha due to continuous rain in Balasore district of Odisha, said reports on Friday.

The temporary Jamughat bridge on Kamusari on the Udla – Balasore road has been washed away due to incessant rains in the area. So communication to and from Udla to Balasore has been cut off.

The bridge was washed away late at night. The water level of Deo river has increased due to heavy rains above Similipal. This temporary bridge was constructed as the old bridge at Jamughat was broken.

The temporary pole was washed away due to the flood in the Deo river. The locals have  demanded the administration to look into the matter at the earliest.
