Balangir: Mystery shrouded the death of a youth whose body was found lying inside an abandoned well in Ashrampada village under Kantabanji in Balangir district on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Kamal Bag of Anand Nagar area.
As per the family members of the deceased, he had gone missing after leaving his home on November 10 in some work. Some locals in the village found her body floating in the water of the abandoned well located at the back of the Radhaswami Satsang Bhawan this morning and called up police.
Police seized the body for autopsy after reaching the spot later in the morning.
While the cause of the death of the youth is yet to be ascertained, some locals have suspected the incident to be a case of failed love.
