BMC imposes Rs 50,000 fine on gym for illegal advertisement, files FIR
The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 on a gym for illegal advertisement and filed an FIR.
Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 on a gym for illegal advertisement and filed an FIR.
According to reports, the BMC officials imposed the fine on the ‘Avis Fitness’ under the SE Zone at Bapuji Nagar. Besides, they filed an FIR at the Capital Police Station for its illegal advertisement and pasting the posters on walls and monuments, telephone box etc.
The City Civic body said that it is taking massive steps to keep the city clean. It is clearing garbage and transforming city scape to make the territory more pleasant.
Besides, it is organizing intensive public awareness programs to get community support for the city’s development. However, a few violators are knowingly disturbing by pasting posters and all. All these acts create traffic issues and hamper the beauty of the area. Therefore, such action will be taken against the violators.
