BMC has conducted raids to check food safety at eateries in Baramunda and Khandagiri areas of Bhubaneswar. 

Bhubaneswar: BMC has conducted raids to check food safety at eateries in Baramunda and Khandagiri areas of Bhubaneswar. The food safety team of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) continued its drive to check food quality across the capital city.

The BMC Food Safety team along with Team SHINE carried out an inspection at the Baramunda Bus Stand and in Khandagiri area, shared BMC via an X (formerly Twitter) post.

It is worth mentioning here that BMC conducted raids anand d all the stale and artificially coloured food was destroyed. Further, samples were taken and sent to the lab for analysis.

The Team BMC further imposed fines on the eatery owners for violations of the guidelines provided by the Municipal Corporation.
