Bhubaneswar records 30 degrees C at 5.30 am; Humidity at 88%

On Monday, Bhubaneswar recorded 30 degrees Celsius at 5.30 am. The humidity touched 88%  at the same time in the Capital city.

Bhubaneswar: Unbearable heat has affected normal life in the capital city of Odisha. On Monday, Bhubaneswar recorded 30 degrees Celsius at 5.30 am. The humidity touched 88%  at the same time.

On the other hand, the regional center of the Indian Meteorological Department in Bhubaneswar has said that there is no possibility of any significant change in temperature in the state for the next 2 days. As a result, thunderstorms will continue along the coast and in interior Odisha for the next 2 days. In some parts of the state, the day temperature was 4 to 6 degrees above normal temperature.

IMD has also asked the citizens to avoid going out after 11 am till 3 pm if not necessary.

“Although this heat and swelling is tolerable, it is very sensitive for young children, older people and sick people. So stay away from direct sunlight and drink plenty of water and keep your living space cool,” IMD added.

Nearly 30 locations in the State are sizzling above 40 Degree Celsius yesterday. Bolangir and Bargarh recorded the maximum day temperature in the State on Sunday with 44.5°C.
