Bhubaneswar: Drunk driver detained following hit-and-run in Nayapalli
The drunk driver was going from Millenium hospital side towards IRC village when he hit a number of vehicles and pedestrians
Bhubanewar: A drunk driver has been detained by Nayapalli Police in the capital city of Odisha on Monday evening following a hit-and-run incident. The locals caught the driver who is responsible for the series of accidents.
As per reports, the drunk man was driving from the Millenium hospital area towards IRC Village road in Nayapalli area of Bhubaneswar when he hit a number of vehicles as well as pedestrians.
Following the series of accidents as the drunk driver was trying to flee from the scene the locals caught him.
After being alerted, Nayapalli Thana Police rushed to the spot and detained the accused. Further investigation is underway.
