Baliyatra 2023: Keep phone number inside kids’s pocket, appeals Cuttack DCP

DCP Pinak have appealed to parents of small children to keep their phone/mobile number inside kid's pocket during their visit to Bali Yatra

Cuttack: The DCP of the city Pinak Mishra have appealed to the parents of small children to keep their phone/mobile number inside the kid’s pocket who is going to visit the famous Bali Yatra from November 27 to December 4.

DCP said, if their child gets lost in the Baliyatra, the contact number will be helpful in locating the parents. He also said, do not get infants, minors to the sand festival if it is overcrowded.

In the Baliyatra, around 55-60 platoons police forces have been deployed and the district police and commissionerate police will be in charge of the biggest sand festival. Around 26 aid posts will be lodged in Upper and lower fields of the festival and more than four tall towers are also being arranged.

The Commissionerate Police has issued a traffic advisory with parking slots yesterday.  The violators of the traffic advisory will have to pay a minimum fine of Rs 500 which may be extended upto Rs 1000 per offence. According to the traffic advisory, the following traffic restrictions will come into force from 2 PM every day between November 27 and December 4.
