After arresting the accused, the police were attacked while returning. This incident happened in Balasore district Soro Police Station Anandapur Police outpost area.
The incident occured in Anandapur Police outpost area when the accused Bansidhar Mallick was being taken to the police station in a auto.
Meanwhile, the accused’s family attacked the police on the way. In the attack, the hand of the Anandapur outpost head constable Phunchandra Singh was fractured. The assailants took away the mobile of outpost sub-inspector Ashok Mohanty.
The injured constable has been admitted to a Balasore hospital for treatment. soro police has recovered the mobile phone of the police sub-inspector.
A thorough investigation is underway to nab the accused and the miscreant who attacked the police.
