Bhubaneswar: Students of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) will perform at the closing ceremony of the 22nd Asian Athletics Championship at Kalinga Stadium here on Sunday.
Apart from the students of the world’s largest tribal residential school, a Mumbai based dance group will also perform during the event which will be a short and sweet affair with 13-minute cultural performance.
“The events are getting over late so we didn’t plan an elaborate ceremony. There will a dance performance by a Mumbai based dance group. Students of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences will also perform. It will be called Symphony of Friendship, keeping in mind the number of countries participating in the extravaganza,” informed Sports Secretary Vishal Dev.
Dazzling fireworks will also be on display on the occasion. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will be the Chief Guest for at the function and will present medals to the winners of the last event.
