An initiative by KIIT, KISS Founder Dr Achyuta Samanta, Veda Pathsala inaugurated in Bhubaneswar
Under this initiative selected poor Brahmin kids from across the State will be provided general education as well as education on Veda and Jagannath culture
Bhubaneswar: A Veda Pathsala was inaugurated on Tuesday at the Shree Vani Khetra in KISS premises, Bhubaneswar in Odisha.
This is an initiative by KIIT and KISS Founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta, under which selected poor Brahmin kids from across the State will get education facilities as well as teachings on Veda, Upanishad and teaching to propagate Jagannath culture.
Daspalla MLA Er Ramesh Chandra Behera, KIIT KISS Founder Dr Achyuta Samanta, KIIT and KISS Vice President Umapada Bose and Pandit Prabodh Mishra graced this inauguration ceremony. The inauguration took place amid chanting of verses from the Veda by the students.
On this occasion a few religious books were also launched while the Veda students were also felicitated.
