7 students injured after picnic bus rams into truck in Odisha

Sonepur: Atleast seven students were injured after ill-fated picnic bus carrying them rammed into a stationary truck at Khambasiripali Chhak in Bolangir-Sonepur road on Thursday morning.

Report says, a bus carrying 45 students from Sonepur had gone for a picnic to Deomali in Koraput. While they were returning back the bus rammed into the truck. Following which seven students sustained injuries, of which 2 were severely injured.

The injured ones were immediately rescued and rushed to Sonepur hospital for medical treatment and the severely injured were shifted to Burla hospital in Sambalpur.
