4 girl students locked in school washroom in Kantabanji of Balangir
The Chairman of the School Management committee, Sadanand Banchhor, is alleged to have been directly involved in the incident.
Kantabanji: In a recent incident, four girl students were locked in the washroom of Buromal Higher Secondary School in Kantabanji town of Balangir district.
The incident took place yesterday afternoon, around 3:30 PM.
The Chairman of the School Management committee, Sadanand Banchhor, is alleged to have been directly involved in the incident. as per reports, he purposely locked the washroom door with the four girls inside. It was only after the girls kept shouting for a long period of time that the lock was opened.
The four girl students along with their parents filed a complaint against the chairman at the Kantabanji police station. The police have initiated a probe into the matter. Further details awaited.
