Malkangiri: Three Maoists were killed in an encounter. A large-scale exchange of fire between the police and Maoists took place in Bijapur of Malkangari district bordering Chhattisgarh.
According to reports three Maoists, including two women died in the encounter with the police. The police have seized a large quantity of explosives and guns from the scene.
More than 30 Maoists were present at the scene, including the Central Area Committee of the Maoists, Vinod Karma, Raju Punem, Viswanath. This success was achieved during the joint operation of DRG and CRPF Cobra Jawan. Bijapur SP gave this information.
