In a tragic incident, three bikers were killed after being hit by a speeding truck near Ranital on NH-16 in Bhadrak district
Bhadrak: In a tragic incident, three bikers were killed after being hit by a speeding truck near Ranital on NH-16 in Bhadrak district on Sunday afternoon.
One of the deceased has been identified as Sankur Pradhan of Puruna hata under Tihidi police limits of Bhadrak district, while the identity of two others has not been ascertained yet.
Reports say, the three youths were enroute Markona from Bhadrak on the motorcycle, when a speeding truck hit motorcyclists from behind near Hi-Tech College at Ranital in Bhadrak. Following which one died at the spot and two others sustained critical injuries. The driver have fled from the spot after the accident.
The Bhadrak police along with fire personnel reached the spot and immediately rescued the injured ones to the Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), where two were declared dead.
Later, the police have launched a hunt to the nab the accused driver.
