2 Lakh More Covishield Vaccines To Reach Odisha Today

Bhubaneswar: As many as 2 lakh more doses of Covid vaccine is scheduled to reach Bhubaneswar on Sunday informed Health and Family Welfare Director Bijay Panigrahi.

The vaccines will be redistributed all over Odisha once they arrive said the director Department of Health and Family Welfare. The State currently has a stock of 3.1 lakh shots of the vaccine which will last for two to three days.

It is noteworthy that the state was hit by a shortage of the vaccines which led to closure of a huge number of vaccination centers.

The vaccination drive had begun on January 17 in which 90.88 percent of health workers have been vaccinated.
