Two people have died in Odisha due to two separate road accidents in Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts today, till now. 

Keonjhar/Mayurbhanj: Two people have died in Odisha due to two separate road accidents in Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts today, till now.

In Keonjhar, the accident took place on National Highway number 20 near Jamunania village where a truck lost control and turned turtle.

According to reports, the truck driver died on the spot. The local police have seized the body and sent it for postmortem.

The identity of the driver is yet to be ascertained. Detailed reports awaited in this matter.

Locals however have said that since the truck was at a high speed, the driver lost control over the wheels and the vehicle overturned.

Yet another death has taken place in Odisha on Thursday where a woman died on the spot in a road accident in Mayurbhanj.

The accident occured near Chadhaiebahala on National highway number 49. The identity of the deceased woman is yet to be ascertained.

The locals have blocked the highway protesting against the incident. The police has reached the spot and is trying to placate the protesters.
