Soro: Atleast 15 people sustained injuries after the vehicle they were travelling were involved in a head-on collision with a truck at Bidu on NH-16 in Soro.
All the injured were immediately rescued and shifted to Soro Sub-Divisional hospital for treatment.
According to sources, the traveller carrying some artists were enroute Baripada for cultural programme from Bhubaneswar. When a speeding truck came from a wrong direction and hit the traveller at NH-16. Following which 15 people sustained critical injuries.
The traveller driver Suryakanta condition is stated to be critical while others are being treated at the hospital.
