Balangir: 14-year-old Droupadi from Odisha’s Balangir district hails from a poor family, but she is rich with talent. So far she has proved her mettle in and around Balangir district. She has been awarded in many platforms.
A Class IX student of the Satya Mahima Sanskrit Vidyapitha in Khaira under Bangomunda Block 14-year-old Droupadi Rana hails from a poor family. Her father works as a migrant labourer to financially support the family.
She is not only a meritorious student but also is a talented dancer. She performs Odissi dance, Sambalpuri and modern dance. Both, Droupadi’s father and brother works as migrant labourer. A few days before she fell ill and hence, her father and brother have come.
Seeing interest of Droupadi’s interest in dance and music, her family members as well as teachers in the school have encouraged her.
Not only in study and dance, but Droupadi is also a good athlete. She has been awarded in the block, subdivision and district level. She was also awarded for her showcase of talent in the State level children’s fest organised by Odisha Secondary School Teachers Association (OSSTA). She has also performed in Dhanuyatra in her district.
14-year-old Droupadi from Odisha’s Balangir is poor but rich with talent. She has brought laurels to her place by showcasing her talent as an artist and dancer.
