Notable personalities of India have wished the citizens of the country on Republic Day. President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi have officially wished the people of the country on this day.
India President Droupadi Murmu wished the citizens of the country via a press release. The release reads, “My heartiest greetings to all of you on the eve of the 75th Republic Day! My heart is filled with pride when I look back and see how far we have travelled despite adversities. The 75th year of the Republic is truly a historic milestone in the journey of the nation in many ways. This is an especially festive occasion, just as we celebrated the unique greatness and diverse culture of our nation during the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, when we completed 75 years of Independence….”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to his official handle on X (formerly Twitter) to extend Republic Day wishes to the country. He wrote, “Best wishes on special occasion of the 75th Republic Day. Jai Hind!”
Further, Union Minister Amit Shah also extend heartfelt wishes on the occasion of Republic Day 2024. On his post on X, he wrote, “On this auspicious occasion of democracy, I salute all the freedom fighters, constitution makers and brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the unity and integrity of the country. Come, let us all together take a pledge to protect our democratic values on the occasion of Republic Day…”
