Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Saturday reported 11 new Covid cases including 2 in the 0-18 years, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department. The positive tally stands at 12,87,834.
Reportedly, among the 11 positives, 8 patients are in quarantine, and 3 are local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 175.
Khordha, Sundargarh, and Sambalpur recorded the highest with two positives. One Covid positive case has been recorded in Balasore, Balasore, Cuttack, Gajapati, and, Mayurbhanj each.

It is to be noted that the Union Health Ministry on April 8 announced that the Covid precaution dose will be available for adults above the age of 18 at private vaccination centres from Sunday (April 10).
All those who are more than 18 years of age & have completed 9 months after the administration of second dose, are eligible for the precaution dose.
