1 killed, over 10 injured in bus accident in Odisha’s Ganjam

Sorada: In a tragic incident that unfolded in Odisha’s Ganjam district, one person lost their life while over 10 people were left injured in a bus accident. Two buses coming from opposite directions collided head-on, causing the accident.
The accident took place near Dharakot in Ganjam, under the limits of Aska police station. Reports from reliable sources state that the two buses collided head on during the late night hours on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Kalia Gouda. He was the driver of one of the buses. The injured in the bus accident in Ganjam were taken to Aska Medical for immediate medical attention. Four of them were later transferred to Brahmapur Medical after their health conditions deteriorated.
Officials from the Aska Police station have arrived at the spot and have initiated a probe into the matter. Further details awaited.
